Who am I? I am a woman longing for heaven. I seek truth, authenticity, and realness among friends. I love using my hands to bless and nurture. I am well suited for caring for the sick and dying and am a remarkable cheerleader for those walking the journey of fighting cancer. I love my little family. I find gratification and delight in making people feel welcome, valued and at home. I greatly enjoy cooking good food for others enjoyment. Nature and beauty speak comfort and soothing to places of turbulence within me. I am usually a risk taker and seek adventure (even though I need roots). I love hearing Jesus’ voice and feeling his presence in my life. I love his church and long to be in deep and authentic community. I love making a home that is safe and home base for my family and me. Plants and I are friends. In another world, I am Nukpana, the Tauren druid.

Shanel: Hi, this is Kathleen’s mom–we met at Max & Erma’s when Brad and Kath were here on July 4th. I now work for an attorney in beautiful downtown Waukegan, on MLK Jr. Avenue. Stephanie & I are going to Florida for Thanksgiving. Hope all is well with you–gardening is done for the season–put in 3 dozen daffodils on Sunday and put away the pots of dead annuals–it was kinda cold but needed to be done.
